After scoring 62 points in the season opener, the Buffaloes have averaged 87.7 points over the last three games.
Colorado trailed by 13 (45-32) at the 18:43 mark of the second half. It's the 18th time that Colorado has rallied from at least 13 points down to win since 1947; and second time this year. Colorado trailed Auburn by 15 in the first half before coming out on top 91-84.
Colorado's 52 rebounds and 46 free throw attempts are its most since having 54 and 46 respectively against Elon on Dec. 12, 2013. The 34 free throws made are the most in a game since the Buffs had 34 against Oklahoma State on Jan. 15, 2011.
Josh Scott (14 points, 12 rebounds, 5-of-8 FG) recorded his second double-double of the season and 25th of his career, tying David Harrison (2001-04) for 10th on Colorado's all-time list. He now has 1,248 points, putting him just three behind Scott Wedman (1971-74) for 19th in career scoring. Scott's 729 rebounds leave him just one shy of Vince Kelley (1980-84) for sixth on CU's all-time list. His three blocks give him 121, two behind Cliff Meely (1968-71) for fifth all-time.
Scott has made 18-of-24 from the field since his 5-of-16 performance in the season opener against Iowa State. Scott is averaging 2.8 blocks over his first four games.
Wesley Gordon (12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists) logged a season high in points, nicely rebounding from being held scoreless Friday night against Portland; also a season high in blocks. He's logged two assists in three of four games.
With his three blocks, Gordon now has 98 on his career tying him with Rodell Guest (1988-91) for ninth on CU's all-time list.
Tre'Shaun Fletcher (15 points, 2-of-6 3FG, 7-of-8 FT) scored 12 of his 15 points in the second half including 10 straight during a 14-2 run that gave Colorado a 10-point lead with 6:33 left in the game. His free throws made and attempted were both career highs. Fletcher averaged 16 points on the weekend hitting 10-of-16 from the field.
Xavier Talton (9 points, 6-of-6 FT) scored a season-high in points with the help of a personal-best six free throws.
Dominique Collier (13 points, 6-of-6 FT, 3 steals) matched his season-best in scoring while establishing new career highs in steals and free throws made.
Talton and Collier combined to go 12-of-12 from the free throw line. Their dual 6-of-6 performances are the best marks on the team this season.
Colorado recovered from a poor start from the line as a team. The Buffs made just 60 percent in the first half (12-of-20) but rebounded to make 84.6 percent in the second 20 minutes (22-of-26).
