Wojcik Earns Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

SAN FRANCISCO – Colorado tennis player Kyra Wojcik was selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention on Thursday.
Wojcik, a sophomore from Goodyear, Ariz., has a 3.31 grade point average and is majoring in integrative physiology. She completed her 2015-16 season with 10 singles wins and two doubles wins. She earned her first career Pac-12 singles win on April 1 against UCLA's Kristin Wiley and also upset 106th-ranked Rianna Valdes from Southern California. At the Pac-12 Championships, she advanced to the second round of the Invitational Draw with a win against Utah's Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa.
It is the second academic award she has earned in her career. She was selected as a scholar-athlete last season by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
