"Today we didn't quite have our best stuff," Kelly said. "Normally our team members are very good drivers of the ball off the tee, today, we had a few erratic shots today which was unusual. We didn't make as many putts as in the past couple days, but overall I think they played very solid. The hole locations were very difficult. The wind did die down a bit but was gusty."
Brittany Fan put together the best tournament for the Buffs as she finished tied for seventh overall at 4-over par, 220. Fan's final scorecard of 74-72-74—220 is her second best round of 54 this season as she recorded a 218 earlier this year. Fan's 54 hole score is the school's ninth best 54-hole score at a conference championship. The No. 2 ranked Stanford Cardinal were closing in on the Buffs second place position but Fan dropped a birdie on hole No. 18 to secure CU's runner up finish. Fan was only one of three golfers in the tournament to birdie hole No. 18. Fan's consistency propelled her to collect the third most pars in the field with 39. Fan earned her second top-10 finish this season.Â
