Men Earn At-Large Bid For NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS — After placing third at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships on Nov. 9, the eighth-ranked Colorado men's cross country team earned one of 13 at-large bids to advance to the NCAA Championships on November 17, in Madison, Wis.

This will be the 27th straight appearance at the national championship for the CU men, which is the longest active streak in the national.

The top-ranked CU women's team automatically advanced to nationals after placing second at the region championship. This will be their 25th trip in 26 years.

The NCAA Championships will be held at Thomas Zimmer Championship Course for the first time in NCAA history. The women's 6-kilometer race will start at 9:45 a.m. MT and the men's 10k will follow at 10:45 MT a.m.
