Colorado Buffaloes Track & Field Shines with Personal Bests at Texas Tech and Husky Invitationals

LUBBOCK, TEXAS & SEATTLE, Wash. – The Colorado Buffaloes Track & Field team closed out two meets Saturday at the Texas Tech Jarvis Scott Open and the Husky Invitational, with several Buffs setting new personal marks after a productive weekend for CU's sprinters and distance runners.
In Lubbock, Emma Pollak ran a personal best 23.84 for a third-place finish in the 200-m run, while Joy Moorer also achieved a personal best 24.31, securing a ninth place finish. Pollak and Moorer now sits second and sixth in CU record book for the 200. Abbey Glynn earned her second win of the weekend, cruising past her competitors in the 600-yard run, finishing in 1:18.19 breaking a 45-year-old CU record held by Lea Ballenger (1:21.60). Ian Gilmore ran a season-best 21.41 to secure a fifth-place finish in the men's 200.
At the Husky Invitational, Elliot Pribramsky ran a personal best 2:13.15 for a 36th-place finish in the women's 800-m. In the mile run Noah Hibbard ran a season-best 4:05.43 for a 22nd-place finish, while Charles Robertson ran a personal best 4:06.04 for a 24th-place finish. William Georges (4:06.69), Lukas Haug (4:07.88), Reese Kilbarger-Stumpf (4:08.33) all achieved personal bests in the mile run. In the 800-m run, Ben Greene finished ninth with a time of 1:50.84, while Ryan Lindrud (1:53.10) and Jacob Culig (1:53.12) finished 24th and 25th respectively.
The Buffs will return to action Friday, Feb. 16 traveling south to Colorado Springs to participate in the Air Force Collegiate Open.
