No. 4 Buffs Head Into Final Stretch: Five Things to Know

CU hosts two at home this weekend
BOULDER – No. 4 Colorado returns home for the first time since Jan. 21, following its four-game road swing through the Pacific Northwest. The Buffaloes will take on Oregon (Friday, 7 p.m. MT) and No. 17 Oregon State (Sunday, Noon MT).
Colorado (19-3, 9-2 Pac-12) moved up two spots to No. 4 his week in the Associated Press rankings, following its weekend sweep in Washington. CU has been in the rankings for 14 straight weeks and inside the top 10 for 13 consecutive polls. The Buffs will play four of its final seven games at the CU Events Center.
Oregon (11-12, 2-8 Pac-12) has lost its last five games, including a 61-48 result to the Buffs in Eugene to close January. Ducks are 0-7 this season against AP-ranked opponents. Friday's game will be the fourth consecutive game for UO against a top-25 opponent.
Oregon State (18-3, 7-3 Pac-12) has won three straight contests, starting with its upset of the then No. 3 Buffs on Jan. 26. OSU sits third in the Pac-12 standings behind CU and Stanford. Colorado native Raegan Beers is ninth in the NCAA with 13 double-doubles this season.

Both games this weekend will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network. Thad Anderson and former Buff Kami Carmann Snyder will call all the action this weekend.
Cory Lopez and Hanna Halteman will have pregame coverage starting 30 minutes before tip-off on the Colorado Radio Network.
Friday is the team's annual Pride Night. Sunday the team will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The doors will open at 10 a.m. There will be skills and fitness stations along the concourse and an autograph session with CU female athletes. Fans can also pick up a free Run Like a Girl t-shirt while supplies last.

Five things to know
- DuckTales – Colorado has won three straight against Oregon dating back to the 2021-22 season. With a win on Friday, the Buffs would tie its longest winning streak against the Ducks, having last won four straight from 2012-13 to 2014-15. It would be just the second two-game sweep over UO for the Buffs.
- In the Rankings – The Buffs have been ranked in 20 consecutive AP polls, dating back to Feb. 6, 2023. It is the fourth longest streak in program history behind 25 (Dec. 17, 2012 – Jan. 13, 2014), 26 (Jan. 22, 2001 – Mar. 11, 2002) and 75 (Mar. 15, 1992 – Dec. 9, 1996).
- 50 Burger – Colorado scored 50 points in the first half at Washington last Sunday. It was the seventh time the Buffs have scored 50 or more points in a half this season, including two Pac-12 games (ASU, UW).
- Posting Up – Aaronette Vonleh scored 20+ points in back-to-back games against WSU (20) and UW (21). She's the first Buff to have 20+ points in two consecutive games since Alexis Robinson had 24 at Utah and 25 vs Stanford in the 2018-19 season. Kennedy Leonard was the last CU player to have 20+ points in three straight games, posting 31 against Colorado State, 20 at Mississippi Valley State and 29 against Wyoming in the 2016-17 season.
- Hot Shots – Colorado has five quarters of over 70.0 FG%. CU shot 72.2% in the third quarter at Washington. The team's best quarter this season was an 84.6% (11-13) effort in the 2nd quarter at SMU.
