How will the entries be judged?
Entries will be reviewed beginning August 22, 2011 through January 13, 2012, by a judging committee made up of representatives from CenturyLink, ROOT SPORTS, and CU Athletics. Entries will be judged on several criteria including the initiative and leadership role of the student, the impact of the activity and the difference it made in the community. All decisions made by the judges are final.

When will the winners be notified?
The winners will be notified two weeks prior to the date of the game they are invited to attend.

What will the winners receive?
The 10 winning entrants will receive up to 100 tickets and food coupons for themselves and their classmates to a CU home football or men's or womenGÇÖs basketball game. Furthermore, they will receive on-field recognition and be presented $1,000 for their school. One grand prize winner will be chosen from the 10 winning entrants.

What will the Grand Prize winner receive?
The Grand Prize winner will receive the opportunity to host a school-wide pep rally at their school. The pep rally will include an emcee from ROOT SPORTS and appearances by CU coaches, student-athletes, cheerleaders and the pep band. The Grand Prize winner will also receive an additional $2,500 contribution from CenturyLink.

The winners will be assigned to games randomly and may not request a specific game.

How many chaperones must attend the game?
We ask that at minimum the winning schools provide at least one adult for every eight kids.

When does the contest end?
All entries must be received by January 13, 2012 to be eligible for the contest. Earlier submissions give you a greater number of opportunities to be selected.

Who may enter?
Colorado middle school students, grade 6th -8th.
