2008 OUTLOOK: Jacquie joins the Buffs after an accomplished career at Truman State. If her training stays as successful as it was this fall, she will be a varsity contributor by May.
AT TRUMAN STATE: Faust was a standout in the 5 and 10k at Truman State. During her senior year, she earned All-American honors as she took 15th in the 10k. Faust won the MIAA 10k and was second in the 5k. She was all-conference all three years in the 10k.
CROSS COUNTRY (AT TRUMAN STATE): Faust led the Bulldogs in every race during the 2006 season. She capped off her cross country career by placing 29th at nationals to earn All-American status. She won the regional meet and became just the second TSU runner to do so. Faust placed second in the MIAA meet. She led TSU in ever meet and had five top-four finishes in six meets. Faust ran all for years for TSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Faust lettered four years in cross country and swimming. She was the cross country team MVP in 2000. Her record in the 5k (20:12) still stands. Faust was the swimming MVP in 2002.
ACADEMICS: Faust is enrolled in the graduate program at CU. She is majoring in speech and hearing sciences. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Truman State with a 3.97 cumulative grade point average. She earned several academic honors at TSU. She was named to the 2007 CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team and the All-Academic USTFCCCA Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
PERSONAL: Jacquelyn Nicole Faust was born on Sept. 17, 1984 in St. Louis, Mo. She is the daughter of Steve and MaryAnn Faust. Faust likes to participate in triathlons and enjoys yoga, outdoor actives and volunteer work.
