HIGH SCHOOL: Seguin capped off his senior season by placing third in the 4A state championships in the 1,600. The mark was a school record and earned him all-state honorable mention status. Earlier in the season, he became the first Mustang to finish in the top-three at the state cross country meet. He placed third overall and lists it as his biggest moment in high school. The finish also won him an honorable mention selection on the Rocky Mountain News All-Cross Country team. Seguin was named to the 4A All-State Cross Country first team and the Jefferson Country First Team. Seguin ran a time of 9:50 in the 3,200 at the state meet as well. He also received honorable mention status on the Jefferson Country League 1,600 and 3,200 teams.
ACADEMICS: Seguin is majoring in environmental biology and environmental studies at Colorado. He was a member of the honor roll and the National Honor Society in high school.
PERSONAL: Steven Mark Seguin was born on January 28, 1989 in Denver, Colo. He is the son of Mark and Robin Seguin of Arvada. He has one younger sister, Michelle.
