2016 SPRING (JUNIOR): Alkhovik played in four matches and posted a 2-2 singles record, all at the No. 6 position. She helped the Buffs to a 6-1 season-opening win over Air Force with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Elisa Nelson on Jan. 17. She also helped CU to a 6-1 win over Northern Colorado with a 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (9) victory against Remi Immler on Feb. 12.
 
2015 FALL (JUNIOR): Alkhovik competed in the Colorado Invitational and the San Diego State Invitational. She posted a 3-3 singles record during the fall and was 4-0 in doubles play. In singles, she defeated a pair of Georgetown opponents in Madeline Foley and Casey Marx at the CU Invitational. She also won in three sets against UC Irvine’s Alex Harrigan at the SDSU Invitational. Alkhovik played with Nuria Ormeño Ruiz and Annabelle Andrinopoulos in doubles play at the CU Invitational and earned two wins with Andrinopoulos against Georgetown and two wins with Ormeño Ruiz against New Mexico.
 
2015 SPRING (SOPHOMORE): Alkhovik had two singles wins each at No. 5 and No. 6. She clinched the team win at No. 5 against No. 75 Kansas (Feb. 22) with 7-5, 7-5 victory. She earned her first Pac-12 singles win in three sets against Utah (April 18). In doubles, she recorded a 3-2 record, all at No. 3. Alkhovik teamed with Nuria Ormeño Ruiz for 6-1 win against UMKC (Feb. 7). She also teamed with Eric Strachan for a 7-6(4) win over Kansas (Feb. 22) and with Ashley Tiefel for an 8-4 victory against Oregon (March 22).
 
2014 FALL (SOPHOMORE): Alkhovik played only one singles match during the fall season at the North Texas Wild West Shootout (Oct. 31), falling in straight sets.
 
2014 SPRING (FRESHMAN): Alkhovik saw limited singles and doubles play during her first semester. She was winless in four singles matches, but won a pair of doubles matches in seven attempts. She teamed with fellow freshman Dhany Quevedo to clinch team’s doubles win against Colorado State (Feb. 1) and won another match with Quevedo against Tulane (March 28).
 
PRIOR TO COLLEGIATE CAREER: She achieved her highest world junior ranking of No. 270. Alkhovik was a doubles semifinalist for the 17th Wilson-Tivoli Trophy (Timisoara, Romania), at Condor de Plata (La Paz, Bolivia), and at Copa Merengue (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). She was also a doubles finalist at Copa Arabe International (San Pedro Sula, Honduras), and a doubles quarterfinalist at St. Clair (Trinidad and Tobago). Alkhovik was a two-time singles and doubles semifinalist at Copa Arabe International (Honduras). In singles play, she was a semifinalist at TIHTA (Noord, Aruba) and Copa Sultan (Mayaguez, Puerto Rico). She reached the singles quarterfinals at Copa Mangu (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). She also reached the round of 16 at X Abierto Internacional Guvenil Casablanca San Angel (Mexico City, Mexico) and at Ukrzakhid ITF in Lviv, Ukraine. At the U-18 World Ranking Event in Montreal, Quebec, she reached the singles Round of 16 and doubles quarterfinals and qualified for the Round of 16 in both singles and doubles at Abierto Juvenil Mexicano (Mexico City, Mexico).
 
PERSONAL: Alkhovik was born June 4, 1995, in Borisov, Belarus, and is the daughter of Viktor Kitschenok and Iryna Alkhovik. Her father was a professional soccer player in Austria and in the Ukraine, and is an engineer. Her mother is piano player/instructor. Her nickname is Vita and she enjoys traveling, photography, reading, running and music. Alkhovik moved to the United States when she was 8 years old and she is fluent in English and Russian.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Her college major is finance.
