Career: Four-year letterwinner • Won 52 career singles wins (No. 29 in school history) and 51 career doubles wins (t-No. 19 all-time) • Finished four-year career ranked No. 21 all-time in combined singles and doubles wins (103) • Clinched 13 doubles matches and three singles matches • To her credit, won 13 match victories when playing three sets, including seven wins when rallying from a set down • ITA Mountain Region Cissie Leary Award for Sportsmanship recipient (May 2013) • Senior year was named the SAAC Distinguished Service Award (contributed significantly to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) and one of two CU student-athletes named The Clancy A. Herbst, Jr., Student-Athlete Achievement Award (given to athletes who overcome personal, academic or emotional challenges difficulties to succeed both academically and athletically).

2014 Summer: Teamed with Seattle University and Denver native sophomore Kelli Woodman to win the women’s main draw doubles bracket at the 2014 ITA Sumer Circuit Mountain Region at the South Campus Courts (July 12, 13) • Won three straight matches with Woodman • Second consecutive summer that Janssens has won the main doubles draw.

2014 Spring (senior): Wrapped up her senior season with eight singles wins with five of them at No. 3 • Helped CU to a 4-0 victory over Tulane (March 28) with a straight set win at No. 2 • Won 12 singles matches for the year • Upset the ITA’s No. 100 ranked player, Arizona’s Kim Stubbe, 7-6(11), 1-6, 1-0(7) on April 5. The win over Stubbe was Janssens’ last collegiate victory • Won four of five singles matches during Feb. 14-March 2 • In doubles, clinched three CU wins teaming with freshman Nuria Ormeño Ruiz for a pair, and another with senior teammate Carla Manzi Tenorio • Won six doubles matches, four of them with Ormeño Ruiz at the No. 1 slot and a pair with Manzi Tenorio at No. 2 • Overall, won 13 doubles matches.

2013 Fall (senior): Achieved a 7-2 doubles record winning her first five with Ormeño Ruiz that included the main draw doubles title win at the Colorado Invitational (Sept. 27-29) • Went 4-4 on the singles court.

2013 Summer (senior): Played in the ITA Mountain Region Summer Circuit (July 6, 7) in Boulder winning the women’s doubles draw • Paired with fellow CU teammate Dhany Quevedo to claim the women’s doubles bracket with two match victories.

2013 Spring (junior): Named the team’s clutch player award winner and team’s most valuable player recipient • Led the Buffs with 16 total wins, including 13 in the spring • Four victories in Pac-12 Conference play were a team high • Four conference wins were the most on the team since 2010 spring • Defeated a pair of ranked opponents, knocking off No. 86 Pamela Montez (UCLA) and No. 111 Desirae Krawczyk (Arizona State) • Rallied from a set down to defeat Krawczyk • Matched a career-best five straight singles wins (Feb. 10-Feb. 28) equaling the five in a row during her sophomore season • Recorded 10 wins at the No. 2 singles, the second most wins at any singles position • Proved her crunch-time capabilities, earning a career-best 6-5 record in three-setters, coming from behind in three of those victories • Began the doubles spring season with an 8-0 start with partner Carla Manzi Tenorio, earning a team-best 11 wins as a pair • The dynamic duo clinched a team-high four doubles matches to help the Buffs to victories • Overall, 15 doubles triumphs, second most on the team and her nine doubles wins tied three others with most wins at a position.

2012 Fall (junior): Won four times in doubles and another three times on the singles court.

2012 Spring (sophomore): Earned the team's most valuable player award at the end of the year banquet • Finished second on the team with 15 wins for the year, in addition to finishing second with eight triumphs during the spring season • Played all but one match at No. 2 boasting a team-high eight wins at No. 2, the most wins at any singles position • Won a team-high 28 matches (combined singles [15] and doubles [13]) • Clinched a pair of CU team wins on the singles court: Houston (Jan. 28) and Northern Colorado (Feb. 25) • Thirteen of 15 wins occurred in straight sets • Won five-straight matches (Jan. 28-Feb. 25), tying for the team best with two others • Defeated Hannah James (Arizona State), 7-6(3), 6-1 to claim her first Pac-12 Conference singles win • Teamed with Carla Manzi Tenorio in doubles and ranked as high as No. 21 nationally (Jan. 23-Feb. 12), then No. 55 (Feb. 13-Mar. 4) achieving a 5-3 record at No. 2 doubles • Won seven doubles matches overall at No. 2 (w/ Manzi Tenorio) and recorded 13 matches won for the year, ranking second on the team.

2011 Fall (sophomore): Finished as the team’s runner-up in singles with seven triumphs as well as tying for second in doubles tallies with six • Reached the singles finals of the Kansas Invitational (Sept. 16-18) and the  quarterfinals (Round of 16) of the USTA/ITA Mountain Region Championships (Oct. 12-16) in Las Vegas • Teamed with Carla Manzi Tenorio for five straight wins to open the season, including four in a row to win the Kansas Invitational (Sept. 16-18) • Also won four doubles matches with Kristina Schleich, three of them at the CU Invitational (Sept. 23-25) en route to the Silver finals.

2011 Spring (freshman): Tied for the second most victories on the team with five • Led the Buffs with three Big 12 singles wins - all at the No. 4 position • Defeated Texas’ Amanda Craddock (7-5, 1-6, 1-0[2]) on Mar. 20, only one of three conference losses for Craddock • Fourth on the team with nine singles triumphs for the year • Won four of seven matches that went three sets, including winning her first four • Rallied twice from a set down to claim victory • Overall won 11 doubles matches, tying for second on the Buffs • Runner up on the Buffaloes with seven doubles wins • Teamed with Carla Manzi Tenorio to clinch a trio of doubles team wins (Metro State, Feb. 13; New Mexico, Feb. 20; Denver, Mar. 4) • CU’s most-successful doubles duo with Manzi Tenorio with 7-5 mark, and a 6-4 record at No. 3 • Teamed with Manzi Tenorio with four straight doubles wins to open spring play.

2010 Fall (freshman): Won her first three collegiate singles matches at CU Invitational (Sept. 24-26) • Went 4-2 in singles and in doubles play • Teamed with Carla Manzi Tenorio to win all three doubles matches at the CU Invitational (Sept. 24-26).

Tennis in Belgium: Member of three club teams: TC De Krekel Peer (2004, 2005); TC Lommel Kolonie (2006, 2007, 2008); TC Tessenderlo (2009, 2010) • September 2009 Belgian Champion III (City Tessenderlo) • September 2008 Flemisch Champion (City Lommel).

Personal: Born on Dec. 17, 1992 in Hasselt, Belgium • Daughter of Emile Janssens and Lieve Van Hoef • Oldest of three siblings, younger brother, Wolke, and a younger sister, Aster • Since she first picked up a tennis racket, has had only two coaches during her career (Sven Plees, Nicole Kenneally) • First-ever student-athlete from Belgium in the history of the CU women’s tennis program • Enjoys writing poetry.

In the Classroom: Graduated in May 2014 with an integrative physiology degree.
