ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. ? The University of Colorado women's tennis team put the wraps on a pair of fall tournaments over the weekend ending the Fall 2007 season at the ITA Central Regional in Tulsa, Okla. and the University of New Mexico Invitational.

At Tulsa, Monica Milewski and Camila Belassi each dropped their respective consolation quarterfinal singles matches. Milewski defaulted with an injury to Sandra Zmak of New Mexico; while Belassi dropped a hard fought three set match to Oklahoma's Maria Kalashnikova, 6-2, 0-6, 1-0(10).

At the UNM Invite, Victoria Almagno and Christian Pheil won their semifinal round match defeating Northern Arizona's Kim Van Ginkel and Leslie Vial, 8-3; then lost in the Doubles A final to Boise State's Laura Baum/Stacey Housley, 8-5.

In the consolation singles, played on Sunday, Almagno outlasted Orsi Golovics of Boise State 6-4, 1-6, 1-0(6) and Pheil fell to Northern Arizona's Orsi Golovics 6-2, 6-2.

The Buffaloes are idle until January 19 when they travel to Albuquerque to take on New Mexico and Vanderbilt on Jan. 20 to open the dual season.
