Esposito/Jendrian Win Doubles Final

CU junior Franziska Jendrian and sophomore Melisa Esposito teamed up for three wins in three days to win the Doubles B final Sunday morning defeating
At the UNM Invite, Jendrian/Esposito defeated teams from Northern Arizona,
In the Singles A main draw final, Jendrian's bid for a two-for-two successful day was lost falling to DU's Julia Bauregger, 6-1, 6-1. Jendrian went 3-1 in singles in the Buffaloes first fall tournament of the 2007 season.
Other CU student-athletes who performed well losing their first match in the main draw and then rallying with three straight wins in the consolation bracket was Esposito and freshman Abbie Probert.
Camila Belassi, Veera Nurmi, Gleisy Torres Torres, Victoria Almagno and Christiane Pheil all finished with 2-2 singles marks.
In doubles, Esposito/Jendrian went 3-0, followed by Nurmi/Pheil with a 2-1 tally, and Almagno/Torres Torres with a 1-2 record.
