LAWRENCE, Kan. - The University of Colorado women's tennis team wrapped up the fall season with a 1-2 singles record on day three of the Kansas Invitational featuring nine other schools.

Junior Michala Hedelund Jensen defeated Peta Maree Lancaster, 6-1, 6-1 for her 41^st career singles win, in addition to her 11^th win this fall season. The 11 wins are a team best.

Kathleen Henry from Armstrong Atlantic defeated freshman Carla Manzi Tenorio, 6-4, 6-0 in the Blue Bracket final; and in the consolation bracket, Tara Eckel of Oklahoma defeated freshman Kristina Schleich, 6-2, 6-1.

The Buffaloes end the fall season playing in four tournaments and begin the dual spring season at Air Force, Jan. 21. Home opener is against Boise State, Jan. 23 at the Millennium Hotel Harvest House.
