On Wednesday's performances
"Today we made solid choices in difficult times. We are still in our fall schedule and building up. This is a five-day tourney so it will be a good test of our endurance and aerobic capacity. This is an essential element for a successful tennis player, while still being able to explode and pull the trigger during points. As the tournament continues, and we want to advance, this will be a test to see where we are in the big picture with our competitors. This team is a great group that are looking to strive and move themselves and their teammates forward so it's always exciting to see them compete. Due to our success today we will look for them to all compete at the same level as we did today."
