Buffs Set to Compete in ITA Kickoff Weekend at Stanford

BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes women's tennis team is geared up to kick off its spring season at the highly anticipated ITA Kickoff Weekend, taking place at Stanford from January 26-29, 2024.Â
The Cardinal are one of 15 host sites determined by the final rankings for the 2022-23 season. Â The Kickoff Weekend allows coaches to draft where they want to play among the 15 sites, with the draft order determined again by the final rankings. Â
Ranked No. 62 in the final poll, the Buffs will take on the host and No. 5-ranked Cardinal in the first round. Â The other side of the bracket will feature Maryland (No. 49) and UNLV (No. 57). Â
Each team that wins the bracket at each of the 15 sites will advance to ITA National Team Indoor Championships, generally held in mid-February.Â
The remainder of the Buffs spring schedule should be available by late summer. Â The fall schedule was released earlier in June.Â
