Buffs Travel to Boston for John Thomas Terrier Classic

BOULDER – The Colorado track and field team heads to Boston, Mass, to compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday, Jan. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. Competition for the women takes place on Friday, and the men will race on Saturday.

RANKINGS UPDATE: The Colorado men's track and field team is currently ranked first in the NCAA for the men's mile with an average time of 3:54.29. As a team, the men are ranked 11th in the nation.
LAST TIME OUT: The Buffaloes hosted their second indoor home meet of the season on Friday, Jan. 23, and Saturday, Jan. 24. Field events took place on Jan. 23, with Amanda Opp, Alaina Fantaski and Lucas Williams competing for CU. In the weight throw, Opp and Williams took fourth place in the women's and men's, respectively.
Track events took place on Saturday, Jan. 24, with Justine Kipkoech making his Colorado debut in the men's mile, posting the third fastest time on the program top 10 list and sixth in the NCAA men's mile. Antonio Votour recorded a personal best of 8.00 in the men's 60m hurdles, placing him at sixth on CU's program top 10 list.
UP NEXT: The Buffaloes return home to Boulder, Colo., for the Colorado Classic at the Ford Practice Facility on Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7.
