Oregon, Denver Are Up Next For Colorado

BOULDER – The Colorado tennis team finishes up a tough stretch of five consecutive matches against nationally-ranked opponents by traveling to the 30th-ranked Oregon Ducks (12-8, 3-5 Pac-12) on Friday at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene, Ore. at 2:30 p.m. MT. The Buffaloes will host the Denver Pioneers (14-4, 2-0 Summit League) on Tuesday, April 17 with first serve set for 2:00 p.m. at the South Campus Tennis Courts following the one-match road trip.
The Buffs (8-9, 1-6 Pac-12) are led this season by freshman Linda Huang, who has a 19-12 overall record and is 7-9 at the No. 1 singles position. Junior Brigitte Beck and sophomore Chloe Hule lead CU in doubles play with a 10-5 record that included a nine-match win streak to start the spring season.
Oregon has battled through a tough schedule, facing ranked opponents in nearly half of its matches. UO's singles lineup includes 49th-ranked Alyssa Tobita, who has a 17-10 overall record. However, the Ducks boast a doubles lineup that features three nationally-ranked pairings with Tobita and Shweta Sangwan with a No. 28-ranking at 13-6 overall.
Denver is led by the No. 55-ranked Julia O'Loughlin with a record of 11-3 overall, including 9-3 at the No. 1 position.
O'Loughlin and Bianca Mok are ranked 24th nationally in doubles for the Pioneers.
