Â
Three events will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday; the men's and women's long jumps and the women's high jump. In the horizontal jump, Gunner Rigsby and Josh Farmer will both compete on the men's side while Maja Wichhart-Donzo and Drianna Mustin will compete for the women. The other two combined events women in Michaela Wenning and Kylee Harr will compete in the high jump at that time.
Â
Shortly after at 4:30 the men's high jump with begin with Giancarlo Narvarte and Jeremy Cody competing. Last weekend Cody won the Potts Invitational high jump with a best mark of 2.03 meters (6-7.75).
Â
It will be a busy time for CU beginning at 5 p.m. when nine of the 10 athletes will be competing with the start of the men's pole vault at 5 p.m. Davis Butte will compete in the event, looking to edge closer to the five-meter (16-5) mark.
Â
Saturday will begin the track portion of the schedule with the 60-meter hurdles. All four combined event women will be in the hurdle race, as well as the heptathlon men in Butte and Farmer though their event will be a finals only at 12:35 p.m.
Â
It will be a busy back-to-back for the freshmen Harr who will compete in the 60 meter-dash as well. Both freshmen multis will compete in the 60 dash with Farmer competing as well, though he won't have the back-to-back qualifying races.
Â
The final field event athletes will compete Saturday morning as well with Cheyenne Cheshier and Gunner Rigsby both set to start the triple jump at 11 a.m. The meet will conclude for the Buffs with Mustin competing in the women's 800 at 1:35 p.m.
