BOULDER - Deneeka Torrey and Brandon Johnson each won a pair of events to lead Colorado's effort at the Potts Invitational Saturday afternoon at Potts Field.

Torrey won the 200 meter dash in 25.36 seconds while also taking the crown in the 400 with a time of :57.64. Other CU winners on the women's side included Liza Negriff in the triple jump (12.09 meters), Jaclyn Baca in the 800 (2:22.65), Erin Marson in the 3,000 (11:07.07), Amberly Casey in the long jump (5.53m) and Carly Newlands in the discus (43.38m).

Johnson won the 400 meter hurdles in :54.26 and took home the title in the long jump with a leap of 7.32 meters. Other Buffaloes that finished first were Eric Lee-O'Brien in the 100 (:10.7), Sam Napp in the 200 (:22.02), Gus Lundin in the 1,500 (3:58.9), Andy Miller in the high jump (2.0 m) and Andy Passen in the shot put (16.70m). 

Along with a host of unattached performers, Air Force and South Dakota Tech participated in the meet. For full results, click on the link above.
