Harkrader, Hanenburg Lead CU Cross Country At Air Force Open

Harkrader was the top male finisher over the 8k course with a 25:07.82 time leading the Buffaloes “B” team to top honors with 24 points, while the Falcons “B” Team was second with 32.
The CU women's “B” team also claimed top honors with 15 points, followed by Air Force with 50 as Hanenburg
was the top collegiate runner finishing with a second placing of 23:26.32over the 6k course.
In the men's race, freshman Cameron Clayton (26:36.26) and redshirt-freshman Matt Herzel (26:50.35) finished fifth and seventh, while senior Greg Casto recorded a 10th place finish with a 26:90.91.
In the women's race, Ryan led a CU underclassmen charge as the Buffaloes tallied the top eight placings with four freshmen, two sophomores and two juniors.
Jacquie Faust was the top overall runner finishing first with 21:41.86 time.
Rounding our the Buffaloes harriers was sophomores Dani Rodriguez (23:45.94), Candice Alai (24:11.5); and freshmen Allison Francke (24:21.49) and Megan Burrell (24:44.22).
The varsity team will be in action next Friday, Oct. 26 at the Big 12 Championships in
