Charles Jumps NCAA Provisional Mark At Mines

GOLDEN,
Charles recorded a mark of 7.42m in the prelims, and finished with a mark of 7.62m in the finals to earn his first place finish, which qualified as an NCAA provisional mark. The mark was the fourth best in school history.
Haverty took first place in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.64m. She was joined in the event by Troi Smith, who came in fifth with a jump of 4.93m.
In other field events, Kaity Kark finished second in the women's shot put with a throw of 12.21m. Kark also finished in seventh place in the women's weight throw with a mark of 13.03m.
The
Toi Windham led the women's sprinters with solid performances in both the women's 60-meter dash and the 60-meter hurdles. In the 60-meter hurdles,
The Colorado Buffaloes will continue their outdoor season Feb. 1-2 at the Falcon Invitational at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
